To ensure the best performance, the wheels of The Wave and The Ripple must be replaced periodically. The Streetsurfing wheels are made of special plastic and have the exact size needed for maximum performance. Wheels on casterboards wear out faster than on skates. You also stand with all your weight on 1 wheel and move forward with a lot of torsion. When the wheels are hard, they wear out more slowly, but you have less grip. The wheels are constructed in such a way that they provide a lot of grip and are also wear-resistant. The Wheels have been tested to withstand the full pressure on one wheel under extreme conditions. We advise you to only use the Streetsurfing wheels for The Wave. For the Ripple it matters less because the forces on the wheels are smaller. The wheels are supplied with ABEC5 bearings and are 76mm in size
